Hands down the BEST chicken sandwich in the DMV area!!! We literally just came out of the place and I already miss it. The chicken is perfectly crispy on the outside, and SO JUICY on the inside. The coleslaw tastes fresh and refreshing, and the pickles gave the right amount of tang. Also, what is the mysterious sauce they use?? The combination is perfect. The staff seems happy and friendly. Not a big seating area but I think they get mostly takeout order. Yummy!

The last time I visited Wooboi was almost 2 years ago in the Arlington location. My recent visit to this location was just as good as my experience before. They serve one of the best chicken sandwiches in the DMV area. Nothing compares to this place. They don't skimp out on the chicken and its so fresh. It takes some time to work through the parts sticking out of the bun. The chicken is crispy on the outside, and perfectly juicy and tender on the inside. The slaw gives the fresh acidic kick needed for such a heavy sandwich. I loved the fries. Was able to share with two others. Came out fresh and stayed crispy during our whole duration at the restaurant. If anyone is craving a solid chicken sandwich.. this is the place to go!

OMG the spices on this chicken!!!! The Ethiopian inspiration definitely shines through. Plus it's so moist and the sauce is great...and the pickles cut through the richness, which is perfect. The fries and dipping sauce are also solid.

friendly staff - good food - all you can ask for. right up the street from us, tucked in a little plaza filled with many different types of food - you find wooboi I didn't really know how to order but was recommended the sando- the pickle we're amazing fries supper crunchy and the chicken was seasoned so well though I can not eat this often - it will be my quarterly visit

From the outside this place isn't that appealing to look at. Inside it's a few tables and some amazing chicken. First things first, this place is halal and not the "I heard from someone it is" halal. When you walk in there's a certificate on the wall. We ordered two chicken sandwiches, one medium and one hot. The medium was the perfect spice level for me and the hot wasn't too overwhelming either. The breading on the chicken is unlike any other chicken spot I've been to. It's super thick and super crunchy, almost like it's double fried. The fries are a must get too. They are seasoned like crazy and have a big crisp to it. I could've done without the heaping portion of coleslaw but I was able to remove some it. This place is a no frills chicken sandwich shop and can easily stand up to the big names in the area.

Customer service: 5.5/10 cashier was kind of standoffish and was reluctant to explain some menu items Ordered: Sando level 2, Fries lv 1, Peach tea + lemonade Sando: 10/10 never had such a well seasoned and fried chicken sandwich. I'm usually not a fan of slaw, but the slaw complimented the sandwich perfectly. Level 2 is a nice slice level and I don't see the point of going past 3. Fries: 10/10 well seasoned and fried perfectly Peach tea is extremely sweat, lemonade just as sweet so be careful doing half and half. Overall I would return for the food.

This place tastes amazing! Always a splurge to these spicy flavors. I like the fact they have curly fries, waffle and okra! We got the sando this time level 3 and it did not disappoint! We also got chicken tenders with no spice level to split with kiddos. I like that you can order ahead on the website to reduce time waiting. They even give an option to support the community now with as little as .25 cents and up to whatever donation you'd like.

My mouth was ON FIRE. if you want to hate yourself try the code blue. I had a fry and I honestly thought I was having heart palpitations for 20 minutes. Okay but besides that wooboi was fantasticccc. Worth the price. Got the level 1 sandwich and boy was that thiccer than oatmeal. Definitely want to get the sauce with it too. Definitely compliments the mild spice and crunchiness. I'm drooling and sweating just thinking about it
